After a well deserved pause (and two babies for Iris), we resumed work on new Peppermoon music, but in a different way. This time, 6 melodies (out of 14) are composed by some of our musician friends from different countries : Paul Abirached, Toshiya Fueoka, Lilian Hak, Benoît Pillon and Sina.
The process of integrating their different vibes into our world was so pleasant that we already have another album in the pipes, based on the same concept.
PRISMES // 2013
Here, we try new flavors in the mix between acoustic and electronic elements. Sometimes the acoustic side is predominant (FERMETURE ANNUELLE), sometimes, we give more space to programming and synths (FRERE ET SŒUR), and some other times, we keep a tight balance between the two (PAYSAGE). The only real matter is to develop our world in a consistent way, without repeating exactly the same recipe.

We demoed some of these songs in Spring 2006, then wasted time trying to find a producer, and ended up doing it on our own. Seems like there was something fresh, and touching to this sound : LES PETITS MIROIRS, NOS BALLADES, UN COIN TRANQUILLE À SHIBUYA and BARCELONE are still some of our fans' favorites.

SKYSIDE MELODIES ep // 2014
Here, we join forces with Korean folk singer-songwriter Siwa.
We wrote French versions of 2 of her songs, and we also created 3 brand new songs together (two in Korean, one in English). This EP is released as a limited edition digipack
(with booklet including lyrics) by ChiliMusic Korea.
PORQUE TE VAS ep // 2011
Our Taiwanese label asked us to do covers for a bonus EP. They suggested PORQUE TE VAS, and we loved so much doing this strange, melancholic version, that we released it in Europe too. Along with totally different recordings of ET L'ON SÈME and SUR LE BOUT DE LA LANGUE, and awesome
B-sides from the debut album (ORIENT-EXPRESS, LES RUES TRANQUILLES, TIPPI BERCEUSE).
